Hiroshima and Nagasaki Japan
where America deployed Atomic Weapons on two Civilian Cities
Japan preemptively striked a large armada of U.S. Naval ships at a naval base in the Pacific
Ocean on the island of Hawaii sinking most of them in place (probably believing after being feed
inteligence Donovan's OSS) inflicting serious damage on American WAR MAKING capability that Japan felt threatened by.
In the light of recent events
America invaded Iraq because (WMD) from that country were believed to be threatening USA and
Europe. Yet none were found, not yet at least... so the story goes... But it was never about
weapons of mass destruction, it was about liberating the Iraqi people and winning their hearts
and minds... the story changed... Yes, until the truth came out about systematically torturing
prisoners of war... and it is a good thing that the truth came out... very unfortunate
that systematic torture and abuse was inflicted on helpless POWs by anyone! Kind of hard to
win widespread support from neutral parties in Iraq now.
In response to having key naval
ships sunk in Hawaii by Japan and after several years of naval warfare, America dropped two
ATOMIC BOMBS on two separate civilian cities in Japan actually having quite a lot to do with the
ongoing war effort at its earliest convenience! Having done so America raised the threshold
of inhumanity to a new, never before seen level in the entire history of ALL HUMAN WAR -
Civilizations. The willingness to deploy two such terrible weapons over civilian
targets not actually threatening the United States and without warning or even a fair
demonstration of the power and capability of the NEWLY invented atomic bomb over a legitimate
military target like any one of the small islands in the Pacific Ocean which could have
demonstrated to Japan that there was no point in continuing to fight, and the hostilities
could have ended without the destruction of thousands of innocent civilian lives in Hiroshima
and Nagasaki Japan. That willingness to deploy such terrible weapons over innocent
children and women, snuffing out thousands of lives in a nuclear flash over Hiroshima and
repeating this terrible inhumane crime all over again in a short time interval later snuffing
out thousands more lives of innocent children and women in a second nuclear flash over
Nagasaki... This anticipated willingness from America's foes to deploy such terrible weapons
is whats keeping Americans up all night wondering if-when-where something this terrible might
happen to them in the age of nuclear bombs...
It seems that Japan had it's own nuclear program along with Germany, so there was probably enough
inteligence to justify the droping of the bombs to end the war... Unfortunetely a cold war was born
out of WWII where USSR and it's unwilling (human-shields) satellite states were staring down western
Europe and USA up to 1989 in a nuclear arms race with each side having enough nuclear firepower
to destroy the world many times over...
